Floor - Balanced 2
Sound Insulation Solution
Performance
Airborne Sound Insulation - Rw = 57 dB
The Floor - Balanced solution grants a very high efficiency in impact noise reduction, taking little space out of the room. The new dBA US-Rubber (or the US-Cork) layed under a 50mm concrete layer is a very efficient and simple way to improve sound insulation when a ceramic flooring is intented . This solution installed on a 150 mm concrete slab is expected to result in an Airborne Sound Reduction Index (Rw) of 57 dB and an Impact Sound Pressure Level (Lw) of 58 dB.
